PDF The Functional Performance of Girdle in Sports Wear

 The surface strain of girddle for sports uses on stationary state was measured by dimensional change before and after warring produced from deformation of trellis figures drawn on girdle. It was found by static analysis of girdle on the market that the hip-up effect indispensable to good appearance of human body was not accomplished effectively.
 The surface strain of girdle for sports uses on dynamic state, especially on active torsional deformation of human body in physical exercise was measured by omega gauge attached to girdle surface, which was connected to dynamic strain meter and electromagnetic oscillograph. At the same time and places, the garment pressures were measured simultaneously. It was found that the relation between dynamic stations on girdle surface and garment pressures on human body was highly significant.
