2026年10月1日(木)、繊維学部および繊維科学研究所では、ボロース大学（スウェーデン）からDr. Maria Perssonをお招きし、特別講演会“The 2026 Faculty of Textile Science and Technology & IFES Special Lectures From Internationally Recognized Scholars - the 4th lecture -”を開催しました。
講演会では、以下の演題にてご講演いただきました。

演　題：Closing the Loop? Textile Recycling, Circularity and Microplastic Fiber Emissions

当日は、対面とZoomオンラインを併用したハイブリッド形式で開催し、教員・学生・研究員など多くの参加者が集まり、活発な質疑応答も交わされるなど、大変盛況となりました。
