We will demonstrate water purification and desalination technology developed using the Shindai Crystal and Shinshu University Reverse Osmosis(RO) Membrane, as well as green hydrogen generation technology from water using a photocatalyst. In 2023, Shinshu University was selected for the government’s Program for Forming Japan’s Peak Research Universities (J-PEAKS). Aqua regeneration (ARG), which focuses on cutting-edge research on water issues and green hydrogen energy, is at the heart of our efforts. The Institute for Aqua Regeneration (Director: Prof. Katsuya Teshima) brings together researchers from Japan and around the world, integrating and promoting research, innovation, and regional contributions with the aim of achieving the Vision for a Greater Shinshu University (see 1.
