Hehas won nine awards, including three“Best Paper” awards from the Society ofHeating, Air-Conditioning and SanitaryEngineers of Japan (2001, 2004, and 2009)and one“ Best Paper” award from ASHRAEHVAC&R Research (2014).If the structure can be controlled through research todetermine the fiber structure formation process, thefields in which fibers can be used as industrialmaterialstirereinforcement and hollow fibers for high-strengthfilters can be further expanded. In addition, recentresearch has revealed that the structure of nonwovenfabric can be quantitatively evaluated by using XCT.If you understand the basics and understand from thefine structure of fibers, you will be able to understandthe basics and applications regardless of where youwork in the textile industry. This human subject experiment is being carried out to validate the cooling clothing that my lab developed. The clothing provided an adequate cooling effect, even in a warm and humid environment, when a convection fan was simultaneously used. This device is used to determine the heat transfer characteristics of body segments in a non-uniform thermal environment.Numerical simulation is used to a nalyze ai r and body temperature distributions.analysis ofBased on the results oftheandstatethermophysiologicalintend toenvironment, surroundingto form aproposereasonable wayscomfortable microclimatethearoundhuman body, especially by adjusting clothingand airflow. Researchfields include fiber/film molding andnon woven structural analysisScanning Electron microscope image of sea/island fiberIn the synthetic fiber manufacturing method, the most basic process is a spinningand drawing process. In this laboratory, we produce various composite fibers suchas core-sheath type composite fibers and sea-island fibers using a spinningmachine for composite fibers, and investigate the fiber structure formationprocess of the composite fibers on the spinning line and during the drawingprocess. Furthermore, since 2014, we have been challenging research applied tothe analysis of nonwoven fabric structures using micro X-ray CT. By this method, the internal structure of the needle punch and meltblown nonwoven fabric wasvisualized nondestructively, and the relationship between the fiber volumefraction and fiber orientation in the cross section and the physicalproperties was quantitatively evaluated.Heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R)systems consume energy. Since the thermal environment is animportant factor in determining the productivity of occupants, it isdesirable to develop effective HVAC&R systems. I am working todevelop numerical simulation methods and experimental devices toanalyze the thermophysiological state of the human body and thesurrounding thermal environment. Simultaneously, I am developingnew personal HVAC&R systems based on various methods and devices.die to collector distanceMelt-blown bicomponent spinning deviceVisualization of nonwoven fabric internal structure by XCT measurementCross-sectional photograph of sheath /core bicomponent fibers.high-performancesuchasfromgraduatingManufacturing of High Performance fibers for protecting of the environment and human healthThe science of heat and thermal perception:Creating individually preferred thermalenvironments by adjusting airflow and clothing
