Initially, tumor-derived CCL2 stimulates CCR2 in the pre-metastatic lungs. Next, this induces S100A8-SAA3 pathway and stimulates TLR4/MD2 cycles. Those cascades further promote hyper-permeability and inflammation.Detection of the focal region in tumor-bearing mice with the permeability phenomena. LLC and E0771, breast cancer cells lines, were used to generate tumor-bearing mice. Note that some hyper-permeability area made by Evans Blue dye injection, was found in tumor-bearing mouse lung.- To investigate synaptic function in mouse models for mental disorders.- To elucidate the mechanisms through by synaptogenic molecules regulate synaptic function.- To advance genome editing techniques in neuronal cells.・Etiology of mental disorders will be elucidated.・Novel drugs targeting synapse will be developed.・Gene therapy for mental disorders will be developed.・Investigation of a mechanism of the carcinogenesis・Elucidation of cancer metastasis・Functional analysis of anti-metastatic cellsToday, in a cancer therapy, especially against metastatic cancer, anticancerdrug treatment was employed. Our mouse study revealed that a subtype ofinnate immune cells have anti-metastatic abilities. These cells cancelthepremetastatic soilformation and attack against metastatic cells. We areconsidering clinical application based on our research data.Through the cancer study, you can extend your views of various fields. It willgive you great activity in many kinds of area, such as healthcare, education, public administration, research, and so on.・Become a medical researcher. ・Work in foreign countries with foreign researchers. ・Become a faculty in universities or academic institutes. Our research is centered on the genes that govern the formation andfunctioning of synapses, which are the connections between neuronsin the brain. In recent years, synaptic dysfunction has been implicatedin the onset of neuropsychiatric disorders. We aim to elucidate howthese genes operate within synapses and how their impairments maylead to neuropsychiatricinvestigations utilizegenetically modified mice to explore these questions. The insightsgained from our research will contribute to the advancement of noveltreatments for neuropsychiatric disorders. Our efforts are directed to reveal molecular mechanisms oftumorigenesis and tumor metastasis. By using tumor-bearing mousemodel system, we have determined that primary tumor elicits aninflammatory reaction in a remote organ before metastasis, which istermed as "premetastatic soil". This inflammatory reaction enhancesvascular permeability, and recruitment ofimmunosuppressor cellsand/or circulating tumor cells, these factors increase the risk of tumormetastasis. Thus, we consider that controlling the premetastatic phaseis an important step to prevent tumor metastasis.conditions.
