理化学研究所生命機能科学研究センター（理研BDR）とバイオメディカル研究所は、2019年から合同セミナーを行ってきました。また2021年に信州大学大学院・理化学研究所連携大学院を開設しました。これらの理研BDRとの連携拠点として、研究や大学院教育の高度化を推進します。The RIKEN Center for Biosystems Dynamics Research (RIKEN BDR) and the Institute for Biomedical Sciences (IBS) at Shinshu University have been holding joint seminars since 2019. In 2021, we opened a joint graduate school between the Graduate School of Shinshu University and RIKEN.
