In the FutureAfter GraduationRyotaroKiyonoAfter GraduationIn the FutureCivil EngineeringCivil EngineeringPavementwhichisthemostfamiliarcivilengineeringfacility,andsoilwhichissupportingstructuressuchasabridgeandabuildingareoneofourmaintopics.Sincesoilpavementhasthehighwater-holdingproperty,freezingdamagelikecrackissuspectedincoldregion.Then,thedevelopmentofmaterialorconstructionmethodrequiredforsoilpavementwiththedurabilityagainstfreezingdamageisstudied.Moreover,researchonsnow-meltingpavementisalsoprogressedtosolvereginalproblems.Membraneseparationtechnologycanbefoundinvariousindustrialareas.Thetechnologyhasbecomeincreasinglyimportantanditrequiresnewmaterialsandmembranes.Inourlaboratorynovelmembranes(hollowfiberion-exchangemembranes,compositemembranesofpolydimethylsiloxanewithcarbonnanofiber,…)havebeenpreparedusingvariouspolymersandfunctionalmaterials.Transportpropertiesacrossthemembranesareinvestigated.Ifthedurabilityagainstfreezingdamagecanbeaddedtothesoilpavementandnewsnow-meltingpavementisrealized,theslip-and-fallaccidentofpeopleorbicyclewilldecrease.Theresultofthisresearchcancontributegreatlytothehealthyandlong-livedsocietyaseco-friendlyandhuman-friendlypavement.Manygraduatesfindemploymentinpublicsofficessuchasconstructioncompaniessuchasgeneralcontractorsandconstructionconsultants,andtransportationinfrastructurecompaniessuchasJRandNEXCO,andcontributetothecommunityandsocietyascivilengineers.Manystudentsfindemploymentaftergraduation,althoughsomegoontograduateschool.centralSomescientistssaymembranetechnologyplaysacentralroleinourdailylife.Today,membraneprocessesareusedinawiderangeofindustrialapplications:desalinationofseawater,purificationofmaterials,fuelcell,gasseparation,etc.Thenumberofsuchapplicationsisstillgrowingandenvironmentalapplicationsforcleantechnologyareverypromising.Manyundergraduatestudentsadvancetoourgraduateschool.Afterthegraduation,theyworkatcompaniesthatdealwithpolymermaterialsormembraneseparationtechnology.andlocalgovernments,foodandbeverage,Soil pavement: eco-friendly and human-friendly pedestrian Hybrid snow melting pavement: eco-friendly snow-melting pavement that combines concrete pavement with synthetic graphite with high thermal conductivity and a heat pump.The apparatus for membrane separation experiments and a result.
