We collaborate with local psychiatric and pedi-atric medical institutions as well as with educational institutions and social service agencies to provide care in all aspects of children’s mental health. Our research areas include clinical studies, epidemiological studies, and basic medical studies.Summary of ActivityWe are developing genetically modified T-cells to express a chimeric antigen re-ceptor (CAR) redirected to tumor antigens. Cancer immunotherapy using CAR T cells has been applied in the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and ma-lignant lymphoma. We are developing a new CAR-T cells to treat acute myeloid leukemia or pediatric solid tumors. We are also working on a new cancer gene therapy using a biodegradable liposome (nanocapsule).
