21Will not you cure heart?Summary of ActivityCardiovascular medicine is a department of dealing with cardiac and vascular diseases. The heart is an organ that directly connects to life. Therefore, we have to demonstrate our performance in emergent cases. The research content is divided into heart failure, arrhythmia, ischemic heart (lower limb) disease, regen-erative medicine. At the same time as we are seeking the right way of cardiovas-cular disease that is entering an aging society, we are working toward the revival of the heart which is a dream of human being.・Registry research on heart failure in elelderly in Nagano prefecture・Remote monitoring in implanted patients with pacemakers・Coronary artery treatment registry research in all of Nagano prefecture・The impact of SGLT2 inhibitor on heart failure patients・Molecular mechanism underlying the progression of heart failureAlthough, the aging society has provided the increase of cardiovascular disease, the clinical practice for the elderly is unclear in many points. This is nothing else because the research is not progressing. We approach each patient with a thorough evaluation and treatment plan, and we devote ourselves to clinical care, teaching, and research for the future of psychi-atry. Our main researches are clinical researches based on data obtained in our clinical practice. We conduct studies covering a broad range of topics including psychopathology, psychopharmacology, psychophysiology, neuropathology, psy-choradiology, and genetic, molecular, and biological psychiatry. ・Social rehabilitation of patients with mood disorders・Temperament and characteristics of patients with eating disorders・Association of estrogen receptors with depression・Functional brain imaging using near-infrared spectroscopyOur multimodal approach based on clinical practice will lead to findings which will be of prac-tial use in clinical psychiatric settings.
