Basedonacademicexchangeagreementsconcludedwithoverseasuniversitieswithfiber/textileprogramsandresearchinstitutions,wewillpromoteresearchandeducationalcollaborationthroughmutualvisitsbyfacultymembersandstudentexchanges,includingadouble-degreeprogram.WewillsendfacultymemberstotheannualAUTEXconference,internationalconferencesontextiles,tradeshows,andothereventstoincreasetheinternationalpresenceoftheFacultyofTextileScienceandTechnology.BycombiningvariousresearchresourcesintheFaculty,weproposenovelresearchthemesthatwillleadtoinnovativeresearchresultswhilehelpingsecureoutsidefundingbyorganizingjointresearchamongfacultymembers.Inadditiontocarryingoutcollaborativeresearchbasedoncomprehensiveagreementsbetweenthefacultyandprivate-sectorcompanies,wewillcontributenotonlytothegenerationofresearchresults,butalsotothetraininganddevelopmentofparticipatingresearchers,technicalstaff,andgraduatestudents.WecontinuetoimplementexistingspecialeducationprogramssuchastheAdvancedLeadingGraduateProgram(adoctoralcourse),theTextileandFiberEngineeringCourse(ajointmasterprogramandjointeducationprogramwithFukuiUniversityandtheKyotoInstituteofTechnology),andthedouble-degreeprogram(amasterprogramwithENSAITinFrance).WewillestablishacenterforeducationandresearchinfiberengineeringwiththeaimofadoptingtheWISEProgram(DoctoralProgramforWorld-leadingInnovative&SmartEducation).Division of InternationalCollaborationIndustry-academiaCollaborationDivision of GraduateEducation海外の繊維系大学・研究機関との間で締結した学術交流協定に基づいて、教員の相互訪問を通じた研究・教育の連携、ダブルディグリープログラムをはじめとした学生の交換留学を推進する。欧州繊維系大学連合年次会議、繊維関連国際会議・展示会などに教職員を派遣し、繊維学部の国際的なプレゼンスを高める。学部内の多様な研究資源を組み合わせ、革新的な研究成果に結びつく種となる新奇な研究テーマを提案し、教員間の共同研究を組織することにより外部資金の獲得に繋げる。組織（学部）対組織（企業）の包括的な連携協定に基づいた複数の共同研究を推進し、教員・技術職員・大学院生に参加させ、研究成果のみならず人材育成にも資する取組を行う。博士課程教育リーディング大学院プログラム、繊維・ファイバー工学コース（福井大学、京都工芸繊維大学との修士課程連携教育プログラム）、ダブルディグリープログラム（仏ENSAITとの修士レベル）など既存の特別教育プログラムを継続実施する。卓越大学院プログラムの採択を目指し、ファイバー工学の教育と研究の拠点を形成する。5研究企画・産学連携部門Division of Research Planning / 国際連携部門大学院教育部門
