2第二期先鋭領域融合研究群についてThe Second Phase of theInterdisciplinary Cluster for Cutting Edge Research先鋭領域融合研究群概要AboutICCER今回の改組で3つの研究所と3つの特定領域研究拠点が設けられました。前者には先鋭材料研究所、バイオメディカル研究所及び社会基盤研究所が、後者には国際ファイバー工学研究拠点、山岳科学研究拠点及び航空宇宙システム研究拠点が該当します。研究所のミッションは、①世界の学術フロンティアを先導する。②データサイエンスを駆使し、未来社会の価値を創造する。③オープンイノベーションのプラットホームとなる。④次代の信州大学の屋台骨となり得る挑戦的新学術領域を創出する。とし、特定領域研究拠点のミッションは、①将来に渡って維持、発展すべき特長ある研究を育む。②特定領域での研究を軸としたイノベーションを引き起こす。③信州大学の特色と強みを活かした教育プログラムの母体となる。④次代の信州大学を担う若手研究者を育てる。としています。新しい研究群では、第一期先鋭領域融合研究群での成果を生かし、世界最先端の研究グループと伍して戦えるよう、信州大学の特色ある研究を研ぎ澄まし、新たな融合研究領域の創造を目指します。ThereorganizationofICCERproducedthreeresearchinstitutesandresearchcentergroups:theResearchInitiativeforSupra-Materials,theInstituteforBiomedicalSciencesandtheResearchCenterforSocialSystems,theInstituteforFiberEngineering,theInstituteforMountainScienceandtheResearchCenterForAerospaceSystems.Themissionoftheinstitutesareasfollows:1)Toleadtheacademicfrontiersoftheworld.2)Tomakefulluseofdatasciencetocreatevalueinthefutureforsociety.3)Tobecomeaplatformforopeninnovation.4)CreateachallengingnewacademicareathatcanserveasthebackbonetothenextgenerationofShinshuUniversity.ThemissionoftheResearchCentersforSpecificAreasare:1)Tonurturedistinctiveresearchthatshouldbemaintainedanddevelopedforthefuture.2)Triggerinnovationbasedonresearchinspecializedareas.3)ServeasthemothershipforeducationalprogramsthatmakefulluseofthecharacteristicsandstrengthsofShinshuUniversity.4)TofosterextraordinaryworkofyoungresearcherswhowillleadthenextgenerationofShinshuUniversity.Theachievementsandresolvesfromthefirst-generationICCERwillbedrawnontorefinethedistinctiveresearchofShinshuUniversity.ICCERwillcontinueworkingtocompetewiththeworld'sleadingresearchgroups,proposingtocreateanewintegratedresearchdiscipline.
