5　グローバルな視野からの研究を加速するため、先鋭領域融合研究群の各研究所に海外から著名な研究者を招へいします。特別招へい教授を中心としたユニット（研究チーム）での招へいも行います。信州大学の強みや特色を生かしながら、各研究所における研究力を強化するとともに、研究指導等を通して学生の教育や若手研究者の育成にも参画し、世界的な教育研究拠点を目指します。In order to accelerate research from a global perspective, notable researchers are invited from overseas to each of the　institutes of the Interdisciplinary Cluster for Cutting Edge Research. Units (research groups) based on distinguished visiting　professors are also invited.
