36Therapies for the future eye candidate? "Adrenomedullin"Summary of ActivityThere is a substance in the body that expands blood vessels called adreno-medullin . Recently, there has been the possibility that adrenomedullin improves retinal disease. We focus the influence of adrenomedullin and the substance called RAMP necessary for its action on the eyes. We research whether improve or worsen artificially vascular occlusion or neovessel on the mouse retina using laser device, with poor adrenomedullin or RAMP called knockout mouse.・Study on the influence of adrenomedullin and RAMP on the mouse retina・Study of the retina of mouse artificially induced ocular vessel occlusion and neovascular-ization using laser device・Study of the retina of mice with diabetes mellituAs the aging society progresses, it is expected that eye diseases such as diabetes and vascular occlusion of the retina will increase.
