The University calls this ux crystals “Shindai Crystal” and has applied for the trademark. This national-level industry-academia-government collab-orative project, which combines leading technologies, will promote social systems innovation with the goal of making water use more sustainable.The 2nd Phase of the Interdisciplinary Cluster for Cutting Edge Research : 3 research institutes and 3 research centersThe resources of Shinshu University’s Interdisciplinary Cluster for Cutting Edge Research (ICCER) are mainly divided among six elds of research that the University specializes in. ICCER comprises a double framework for research: research institutes to drive cutting edge, innovative research, and research centers whose mission includes training human resources to work in specialist areas and offering platforms for industry-academia-government collaboration. This double framework gives an extra edge to the University’s research culture.
