Research CollaborationThe School of Medicine has been conducting research in collaboration with leading overseas institu-tions, such as Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, and broadening the range of research fields in which it collaborates through international partnerships, including the recently-established agreement with the University of Trieste, Italy.Exchange of StudentsOne of the aims of our School is to provide both our own medical students and those from other coun-tries with opportunities to broaden their cross-cultural understanding. The exchange programs we orga-nize with our overseas partner universities offer students the chance to pursue basic medical science research or clinical training for a period of between 2 to 12 weeks.
