Osamu TakyuIn the FutureAfter GraduationRecently,thewirelessmoduleisappliedtothevariousobjects,suchaselectricalpowermeter,electricalappliances,andvendermachines.Suchcommunicationshasrecentlyattractedmuchattention,andtheyarecalledmachine-tomachine(M2M)anddevice-to-device(D2D)communications.Aswirelesscommunicationsisspreadingoverourlife,securityandsensoraremuchmoreimportant.Wireless Security and Wireless Sensor Network for Secure and Comfort LifeThealumnusofourlaboratoryplayactiverolesasresearchersindevelopingthewirelesscommunicationsinthemanufacturingindustriesandwirelesscommunicationvendors.Electrical& Computer EngineeringPh.D.Associate ProfessorFrom 2004 to 2005, he was visiting scholar in the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, University of Sydney. His research topics are wireless communication technology.Recently,smartphoneachievestheexciting,enjoyable,andconvenientlife.Thisisbecausewirelesscommunicationcansupporttheexchangingofmessagethroughtheinternetanytimeandanywhere.However,itiseasyforwirelesscommunicationtoleaktheprivatemessagebecausetheelectricalwavespreadsoverthefieldspace.TakyuLabpaysattentiontothewirelesssecuritytechnologies,suchasthepenetrationanalysisofelectricalwaveandartificialnoise.Formonitoringthevariouscondition,suchasbuilding,animal,andhuman,thewirelesssensornetworkispowerful.TakyuLabisstudyingthewirelesssecuritytechnologyandthewirelesssensornetworksforthesecureandcomfortlife.Eavesdroppermaydrawtheprivatemessagethroughtheintermediatenodeinwirelesscommunication.Ajammingorartificialnoisemakesitdifficult.ExperimentationofWirelessSensorNetworks.ThisisoneofthesystemmodelsforMachinetoMachineCommunications(M2M)orInternetofThings(IoT).Alotofsensorscanchecktheconditionoftrainsforsafetytravel.Associate ProfessorHead of magnetic energy harvesting project, Shinshu University.He received the PhD degree from Kyushu University, in 2006.His fields of interest include sensor, shielding, and energy harvesting.
