Fumitaka HayashiTheHayashigroup,incollaborationwithTeshima,Zettsu,andSuzukiSayakagroups,hasresearchedfabricationoffunctionalinorganiccrystalsbyutilizingvarioustechniquesincludingfluxgrowthmethod,andsolvothermalandammnothermalmethods.Especially,ourresearchfocusesonrecoveryofusefulresourcesandremovaloftoxicionsfromaqueoussolutionsusinginorganicionexchangers.Wearealwaysinterestedinfundamentalissuesandproblemsinthefieldsofenergyandenvironmentalscience.Ourtargetistodevelopfunctionalmaterialsrangingfromnanosheetstosinglecrystalsandtoapplytoionsieves,electrodes,andquantumcomputerdevices.Researchissuesareselectiveuptakeoflithiumionfromlakeandseawater,removalofradioactiveandtoxicmetalionsfromwastes,andevaluationofnuclearspinpropertyof19F-dopedapatite.Wemakeainternationalteamtopursuesuchfieldsofstudy.Assistant ProfessorHe completed doctoral degree in Tokyo Institute of Technology, and started to work as an assistant professor in ShinshuUniv. in 2015.
