41Explore the Standard of Care and Medical Innovation in Cancer TherapySummary of ActivityWe provide medical oncology service for patients with cancer such as chemo-therapy, radiotherapy, and palliative therapy. In addition to the clinical service, we also focus on a variety of basic/translational/clinical researches leading to the better patient care in the future. We, emergency and critical care phy-sicians are trained to judge their patient’s severity and urgency grades immedi-ately after emergency room arrival, in ambulance car and helicopter, or on-site. Furthermore, we are also specialized in advanced life support and life-saving technique of critical care.・ Improvement in outcomes of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest or cardiogenic shock・ Control of multidrug-resistant bacterium in intensive care unit・ Assessment of the effect of renal replacement therapy on patients with sepsisWe facility to promote clinical and translational research strategically in our emergency and critical care center and emergency centers in Nagano Prefecture.
