We mainly provide surgical care for tumors, including breast cancer, lung cancer, thyroid cancer, and mediastinal tumors. In our division, we strive to train “academic surgeons” who can provide treatment based on a scientific understanding of tumors, and have devoted ourselves to basic medical research on tumors.・ Analysis of oncogenesis and acquisition of malignant phenotype in thyroid, lung, and breast cancer.・Mechanisms of cytotoxic drug resistance in breast and lung cancer・To be specialists of breast/endocrine and thoracic surgery.・ To be “academic surgeons” who have the creativity they need to thrive on the global stage.
