The patient will live in a different environment from the house by being hospitalized. Let’s think about the nursing in which patients can live in their own way.Interesting research is foot care of diabetic patients. In graduate school, I studied preventive foot care foot lesions, which is a complication of diabetes. In addition, we are doing research to make work easier for male visiting nurses.The severity of diabetes can be prevented by reviewing lifestyle habits. Diabetes patients can prevent foot lesions by performing their own foot management.I would like to conduct research that will help diabetes patients to be themselves.I think that the basis of nursing is “compassion for others”. One of my former teachers in my medical college days said as follows 30 years ago: “Surgical operations on cancer will decrease 20-30 years later. Thereafter, the main targets of surgery will be inborn deformity, injury and organ transplants.” Now, organ transplantation has become an important elds of surgery, but cancer has remained as one of the most important eld of surgery all the while. Therefore, one of his expectations was correct, but the other was not.
