We have demonstrated that SLIs change their shape according to the movement of extremities.For its molecular mechanism, we found “4.1G-Membrane protein palmitoylated (MPP) 6-Cell adhesion molecule (CADM)4” membrane skeletal protein complex which is homologous to “4.1R-MPP1-Glycophorin C” in erythrocytes having a role for membrane exibility against blood shear stress.We are also examining diseases relating to the molecular complex.It is possible to understand normal structural function of our bodies if you nd molecular mechanisms formed by protein complex. In addition, you could clarify the reason of diseases relating to the protein complex. Recently, it became easier to use advanced molecular biological techniques.
