―17―Support learning of health education, Considering factors appropriate for a person to achieve a healthy lifeIt is not the goal of life to become healthy. Through one’s life, it is a goal to realize improvement in the quality of life (QOL), and health is one of the means to that purpose. Stress and lifestyle, and various factors including the outlook on subjective health are related to QOL. In recent years, people are said to live in a “gap-widening society,” and gaps in pay and the difference in health status can become a big problem. In such a severe living environment, I study how the QOL of people is related to stress and their lifestyle. I also work on research and development of an educational program for community health nurses to practice improvement in health support.WHO denes health as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or inrmity.” This is parallel with a denition of QOL mostly. A study of QOL will be the basis to think about what health is and lead their life accordingly.The public health nurse faces much difculty as an interpersonal worker, but it is difcult to be settled alone from the beginning. Therefore, it is important to talk with somebody without struggling on alone.
