Seiren challenges to create a new market with new materials November, 2016

Seiren provides a variety of products for car seat materials including fabrics, artificial leather, natural leather and air bags. One of the key products is “QUOLE.” “QUOLE” is artificial leather developed on the concept of “a new material superior to natural leather.” Seiren is moving forward on creating a further function and a market, utilizing their textile technique. In comparison with natural leather, “QUOLE” is about 2kg lighter and costs 50% less per car. Reducing weight contributes to reduction in fuel consumption and cost.
