Unitika enters into the spunlace business for industrial application November, 2016

Unitika sets out to enter into the spunlace nonwoven business for industrial application. Unitika has a clear prospect of developing a manufacturing process that makes an excellent uniform structure, and is planning to set up a pilot plant in this year. Unitika’s spunlace is mainly made from natural silk fibers, and has been developed for face masks. The new product to be developed includes synthetic fibers as a main raw material, and is expected to have new applications.
