Seiren makes a full-scale entry in the conductive fiber business for smart clothing to monitor the health condition of a wearer by amalgamating the IT (information technology) with clothes. Seiren developed the technology to weave the conductive fiber into fabrics and to print conductive inks onto fabrics. Seiren aims to put collaborative products into market with the IT-related companies by utilizing its own strength of a through-production line from original yarn production to sewn product manufacturing as a holistic group. Seiren also develops its own products. Seiren developed already the technology to weave/knit metal-coated conductive fiber into fabric and to print conductive inks to construct electric circuits and/or electrodes onto clothes.
