Toyobo developed artificial leather which absorbs and desorbs moisture 5 to 10 times more efficiently than conventional artificial leather. This artificial leather realizes dry touch as natural leather by kneading more acrylate micro particles onto its surface. Normally leather surface becomes brittle when more micro particles are kneaded in, but the durability of this artificial leather is maintained at the conventional level by re-examining the components of polyurethane resin and the base fabric structure while the weight is as light as about 1/3 of natural leather.
