An Investigation into The Actual Conditions of Women's Gymnastics Groups in Osaka

It appears that women's gymnastics group activities are becoming more popular recently. The number of these groups, however, and their actual states, are still quite uncertain.
The purpose of this investigation is to learn how many gymnastics club activities can be found in Osaka and its suburbs, as well as the actual conditions of their activities.
We have found 173 groups, and of these, 81 groups replied to our questions. The groups which responded to our questions are mostly as follows:
・small groups consisting of 11~20 members
・the average experience of their activities is 3.7 years
・their activities are observed mostly from 10 a.m. to 12 noon
・many groups do not have adequate rules or regulations
