PDF The Study of Cardiac Functions on Jogging-Approach of Left Ventricular Functions by Echocardiography

【Supercategory:7. DESCENTE SPORTS SCIENCE Subcategory:7.1 Vol.1

The characteristic response of blood pressure to the same submaximal heart rate was to be higher in sedentary young men (control group) than middle-aged and older male joggers and long distance runners of Univ.
It was showed by echocardiography that left ventricular diastolic dimension at rest was significantly higher, ejection fraction and mVcf were significantly lower in middle-aged and older joggers compared to control groups.
These findings suggested that blood pressure during exercise evidently decreased and cardiac reserve increased in joggers. It was presumed that jogging had a possibility to be a good aerobic exercise for care and prevention.
