PDF Evaluation of Daily Physical Activities by the Heart Activity Index Designed for 24 hr Heart Rates

【Supercategory:7. DESCENTE SPORTS SCIENCE Subcategory:7.11 Vol.11

Daily physical activities of 10 adult males and 17 adult females were studied by using the heart activity index (HAI) designed for 24 hr heart rates. The heart rates for 24 hr were recorded with heart rate memories. The HAI was calculated to the all heart rates scored on the standard of the average heart rate during sleep.
The daily total heart rates of males were generally the same as that of females. The differences between males and females heart activity pattern were not evident. But females showed a slightly higher HAI and average heart rate than males.
It was shown that the daily total heart rates were affected by two factors : the average heart rate during sleep and that during daily physical activity.
Pedometers were used for determining the patterns of daily physical activities. But the pedometers could not move in the routine physical exercise by cyclings.
