Development of function transfer technology using SAM forming technology

【Supercategory:3. Textile Category:3.3 Functional processing Subcategory:3.3.1 Processing technology

We are working to develop function transfer technology using self-assembled monolayer (SAM) forming technology developed as a “seed technology” at a Nagoya University intelligent cluster program. The goal of this research is to establish dry-process hydrophilic processing technology by studying the conditions under which a processing agent with a hydrophilic functional group can be fixed to a polyester material using SAM forming technology.
