Comparison of scouring methods for raw silk at constant temperatures

We performed alkali scouring, acid scouring, and enzymatic scouring of silk at constant temperatures and compared each scouring method based on the change in the scouring loss rate over time. As a result, we found that enzymatic and alkali scouring are best suited to complete scouring, while acid scouring is well suited to partial scouring.
