Sublimation transfer printing using transfer paper, which was developed for use with polyester fiber, provides a simple, environmentally friendly method for printing full-color graphics that does not produce any wastewater. However, sublimation transfer printing on natural fibers has been prone to problems such as dull color and susceptibility to fading after dry cleaning.
By creating micro-particles of polyester resin and chemically bonding them to the surface of natural fibers, we have developed sublimation transfer printing technology for natural fibers that leaves the texture of the natural fiber intact while delivering bright colors that will not fade.
