Development of textiles with comfortable functionality using unutilized resources

We are working as part of a research group with local companies in the textile industry to develop clothing textiles and nonwoven fabrics that are easy on the skin using unutilized resources such as bamboo from unimproved bamboo groves and lumber from thinned trees.
During the 2013 academic year, we worked to overcome deficiencies with the goal of commercializing clothing textiles by means of bamboo blasting.
