　Toyobo has developed moisture-absorbing/heat-generating acrylic fiber “MOISCARE” which could be blended with down. Although down has little moisture absorbency, a moisture absorbency is improved by blending with “MOISCARE” and a sweaty feeling is thus suppressed. Toyobo plans to offer “MOISCARE” for apparel and bedclothes products. If “MOISCARE” is blended with down by 20 %, the moisture absorbency will increase about 1.4 times more than 100 % down. “MOISCARE” will compensate the weak point of down as little moisture absorbency without losing the good properties of down.
