MITSUBISHI RAYON has developed acrylate fiber “VONNEL Ag” suitable for in-room-drying. High anti-bacteria effect and its washing durability are obtained by kneading silver-type anti-bacteria agent into fiber. The silver-type anti-bacteria agent used for “VONNEL Ag” ensures safety as approved by FDA/EPA, and prevents the generation of damp-dry smell by suppressing the growth of damp-dry smell generating bacteria. MITSUBISHI RAYON expects to expand the applications including inner- and outer wears, sweaters, insulation materials for apparels, sheets etc. for bedding and construction sites, and nursing care products.
