TORAY and Toray Advanced Materials Korea（TAK）have decided to expand the production facility of TPN, the subsidiary of the PP spun bond business in China. A production capacity of the new facility is 2 tons/year, and a capacity of PP spun boond production at TPN increases to about 78,000 tons/year. The facility will start running from December, 2014, and a total capacity of PP spun bond production of TORAY group will become about 141,000 tons/year. TORAY deals with the tremendous increase of PP spun bond demands in China with increasing the production capacity, respond to the upgrading needs for diaper materials and aims to strengthen acost competitiveness.
