KURARAY developed high-functional nonwoven for acoustic absorption and articulation. September,2013

【Supercategory:6. Products Subcategory:6.1 New products of 2013

KURARAY applied high-functional nonwoven material “FELIBENFY” for an acoustic absorption and articulation material.
FERIBENDY has a specific fiber structure designed for high efficient acoustic absorption, and KURARAY developed a new material for acoustic absorption and articulation by utilizing FERIBENFY’s acoustic characteristics and lightness. The material can be used for “acoustic absorption” or “articulation” by using a different surface (front or back surface) according to the need to improve acoustic environment for class rooms or conference rooms to reduce vibrancy or for articulation and playing of instruments or music listening to adjust vibrancy. KURARAY expects to expand its market for the home audio room, the music room in schools or other educational institutions, and the conference rooms.
