ASAHI KASEI FIBERS succeeded in preparing nano-level porous membrane of polyketone June, 2013

【Supercategory:6. Products Subcategory:6.1 New products of 2013

ASAHI KASEI FIBERS has now a clear vision for the development of “porous polyketone membrane” for microfilter to remove dust or rust, where the average diameter of a pore is in nano-level. Polyketone membrane has a lower pressure loss (i.e., a lower energy loss) than polyethylene membrane or nylon membrane, and has a potential to separate particles precisely according to the size. ASAHI KASEI FIBERS started delivering the sample sheet or cartlidge of the polyketone membrane as the “KPK series”, and aims to commercialize “KPK series” as soon as possible.
