KURARAY developed autohesion stretching bandage for animals “FELIBENDY” June, 2013

【Supercategory:6. Products Subcategory:6.1 New products of 2013

KURARAY developed the autohesion stretching bandage (without adhesives) for animals “FELIBENDY” by applying high-functional nonwoven “FLEXTAR”.
The bandage could be cut by hand and is easy to rewind. No adhesive is used, so that the bandage would hardly entangle with animal hair. The adhesive stretching bandage is conventionally used for animal treatments, but this type of bandage entangles with animal hair and becomes difficult to rewind. Furthermore the bandage should be cut by scissors. The veterinaries were consistently asking to ease this inconvenience at treatment. KURARAY has already developed autohesion stretching bandage for human use in 2008.
