TORAY developed high breathable and UV-cut cool-touch knit material February,2013

TORAY developed knit material “AEROREED” which possesses higher breathablitythan mesh and is provided with the UV-cut function and high water absorbancy. The fabric is produced from TORAY-original special-structured yarn coupled with the weaving design technology, where aeration is controlled through micropores formed hommogeneouly in the fabric. The draft quantity was evaluated as 270 cc/cm2?sec, which is higher than the conventional knit fabric (160 cc) or mesh (250 cc). The UV-cut ability corresponding to UPF30 is also afforded to the fabric. TORAY offers the fabric mainly for sports apparel material.
