TEIJIN developed a wool-touch polyester material.
TEIJIN developed a wool-type raised fabric by weaving polyester filament blended PTT (polytrimethylene terephthalate) staple. TEIJIN expects to be adapted for jackets and other outers, and aims to sale 50,000 m in 2013. The yarn for this fabric is composed of polyester core surrounded by PTT fiber. PTT has a good stretching and shape-recovery characteristics as well as durability.
