TOYOBO enforces the production of RO membrane by 50 %. February,2013

TOYOBO expands the production capacity of the RO membrane (the reverse osmosis membrane for saline water conversion) unit “HOLLOSEP” at its Iwakuni Plant by 50 %.
TOYOBO forecasts the continuing increase in large-scale order for the RO membrane, and evaluated it necessary to scale-up the production capacity. TOYOBO has launched the local production of “HOLLOSEP” and a joint research project on the saline water conversion technology with a local university in Saudi Arabia. TOYOBO forwards to strengthen the business establishment in the Middle-East as the market in the Middle-East will expand consistently in future.
