ASAHI KASEI FIBERS exploit a new market for noise-suppressing sheet business by launching a new brand specific to audio equipment in addition to the existing brand for electronic devices.
　Noise-suppressing sheet “PLUSHUT” developed by ASAHI KASEI FIBERS is composed of metal-coated polyester nonwoven, and functions to absorb electromagnetic wave noise-source and transform it into heat. A conventional product is composed of magnetic material and suppresses mainly the noise caused by the magnetic field, while “PLUSHUT” copes with the noise due to the electric field, and many PC users employ “PLUSHUT” to deal with the noise caused by the built-in antenna in PC.
