TEIJIN enforces the apply chain of aramid fiber.
TEIJIN started reviewing the next step of the product expansion of para-aramid fiber “TWARON” and “TECHNORA”, and meta-aramid fiber “TEIJINCONEX”. TEIJIN plans to increase 15 to 20 % increase of the production capacity for each fiber. The final decision will be made at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next year. TEIJIN scheduled the 15 % increase of the production capacity of “TWARON” and “TECHNORA” within 2012 by dissolving the bottleneck of the existing plants, but continues trying to keep a stable supply by reviewing the next step expansion in accordance with the market growth.
