TEIJIN enforces the production of nickel-coated carbon fiber to cope with the expanding application for electromagnetic wave shielding.
The demand is increasing for the electromagnetic-wave-shield housings in order to protect electronic devices from malfunction. TEIJIN has succeeded in the lower cost production (in comparison with a conventional production) of electromagnetic-wave-shield housings and devices from the composites composed of resin and nickel-coated carbon fiber staple which has metal-like conductivity.
