TOYOBO supplies its reverse osmosis elements for sea water desalination “HOLLOSEP” to the world-largest class desalination plant in Saudi Arabia. In order to expand the sea water desalination business in the Middle-East, TOYOBO intends to sharpen its competitive edge of the desalination business in the Middle-East by (1) starting the production of “HOLLOSEP” in Saudi Arabia and (2) promoting the collaborative research with the Saudi Arabian universities. In addition, TOYOBO plans to increase the production capacity of “HOLLOSEP” over 30 % in order to meet the increasing demand in near future.
