KURARAY will cut down largely the production process of vinylon fiber. July,2012

【Supercategory:6. Products Subcategory:6.1 New products of 2013

KURARAY is to review the production process of vinylon fiber for industrial use. The production process will be cut down largely to 1/5 of the existing facilities. The pilot plant will be introduced for a demonstration experiment in the OKAYAMA plant in 2013, and put into practical use in 2014 in the earliest case. The market for vinylon fiber is expanding in abroad as an asbestos substitute for reinforcing cement, a nonwoven sheet for a separator of alkali dry-cell battery, etc.
