Mitsubishi Chemical develops nonwoven composite materials resistant to broad shocks and loads（MITSUBISHI CHEMICAL）August, 2023

Mitsubishi Chemical has developed composite materials consisting of recycled carbon fibre nonwoven fabric and thermoplastic resins. It is more resistant to shocks from many directions and loads, than conventional materials in which recycled carbon fibres chopped into small pieces are mixed with resins. The processable material can be made automotive parts, for example, by hot press technique.
