Teijin develops nonwoven microcarriers for speedy and large-scale cell culture（TEIJIN）August, 2023

Teijin has developed nonwoven microcarriers “eceliba” that enable speedy, large-scale and high-quality cell culture, working with Fukui University. This scaffolding material developed on the basis of Teijin’s unique fibre and nonwoven designs for effective cell culture facilitates adherence and circulation of the culture medium and oxygen necessary for cell growth. Teijin started shipping the samples to research institutes, universities, pharmaceutical manufacturers and cosmetics manufacturers in July 2023.
