Kuraray’s eco-friendly hook-and-loop fastener certified to RCS (KURARAY) February, 2024

Kuraray Co., Ltd.’s upgraded “MAGICTAPE” is certified to Recycled Claim Standard (RCS). The eco-friendly hook-and-loop fastener is a 100 percent polyester material, and includes about 30 percent polyester yarns whose raw materials are made from used PET bottles, of the material’s mass. The sustainable “MAGICTAPE” is mechanical recyclable, unlike the conventional one in which polyurethane resins are applied to back coating agents.
